We presently have openings for the following positions:
Part Time Barista - Various Hours:
With exceptional customer service, the barista focuses her/his time in
the production of highest quality coffee, tea and espresso based
beverages to wide range of clientle. S/he is also responsible for the
cleanliness and organization of the store.
The hours will vary from week to week but will consistently be between 5 - 15.
Applicants should have a minimum of 4 months of customer service experience, preferably in a food service establishment.
Coffee experience is not necessary, but, one must enjoy and appreciate coffee.
This position is tied directly to the academic year. Hours and scheduling remain flexible.

Senior Barista - On Call:
With exceptional customer service, the barista focuses her/his time in
the production of highest quality coffee, tea and espresso based
beverages to wide range of clientle. S/he is also responsible for the
cleanliness and organization of the store.
This position is designed to give a talented barista the opportunity to practice her/his skills in one of the coolest independent coffeehouses in New Haven.
While regular shifts may not be desirable or possible for some baristi who are full time students/employees, the Publick Cup would love to work with talented professionals to provide an occasional chance behind the bar.
Applicants should have a minimum of 6 months of experience as a barista, working on a daily basis with coffee, tea and espresso.
